This course gives a basic overview of OSHA, OSHA act, and OSHA’s role in prevention and elimination of work-related illnesses and injuries.

This training course is designed to provide a basic understanding of blood borne pathogens, common modes of their transmission, methods of prevention, and other pertinent information.

The Blood borne Pathogens Standard  applies to employees who have  occupational exposure (reasonably anticipated job‑related contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials).

The three most common blood borne pathogens (BBPs) are human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and hepatitis C virus (HCV).
